5 practices to the spiritual side of success

5 Practices - The Spiritual Side of Success-Prayer

5 Practices – The Spiritual Side of Success-Prayer

There are 5 pillars to the spiritual site of success,
which can be found in all tradition and religions of our world

the first one is prayer fife times a day.
the second one is fasting
the thirt being of service
the fourth giving
the fifth pilgrimage

This are the practices which help on the way to success .

Lets think about Prayer

I know some people who think praying has to be in the church on sunday or
many only remember praying when they are in need, fear or in a difficult situation .

Many have still the picture of an old man with white gown and a beard in mind when thinking of praying to God.

Most people do not pray; they only beg.
George Bernard Shaw

In our hectic and stressful time many do not take the time to pray or are in a hurry.

The trouble with nearly everybody who prays is that he says ‘Amen’ and runs away before
God has a chance to reply. Listening to God is far more important than giving Him our ideas.
Frank Laubach

I have been looking for quotes and they really say  a lot about the way people pray.

Prayer does not mean asking God for all kinds of things we want,
it is rather the desire for God Himself, the only Giver of Life.
Sadhu Sundar Singh

Is it not sometimes like Oscar Wilde said ?

“When the gods wish to punish us they answer our prayers.”

I found quotes from different traditions about payers, here they are:

No prayer is complete without presence.
Rumi

As long as you are performing prayer, you are knocking at the door of Allah,
and whoever is knocking at the door of Allah, Allah will open it for him.
Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyya

While praying, listen to the words very carefully. When your heart is attentive,
your entire being enters your prayer without your having to force it.
Nachman of Breslov

For me it is a feeling of love and gratitude which opens the heart a connection and a
conversation with the universal mind ,God ,Spirit ,whatever we name it.

Here I share a 5 step practise with you ,a way to connect , to get in a higher frequency
which will help you on the way to your goal or dream.

This can be done easily several times during the day, even while driving and waiting
for the green light ,while walking ,cooking brushing teeth and…..

May it help you to connect

More quotes about prayer;

I used to pray that God would feed the hungry, or do this or that, but now I pray that he will guide me to do whatever
I’m supposed to do, what I can do. I used to pray for answers, but now I’m praying for strength. I used to believe that
prayer changes things, but now I know that prayer changes us and we change things.
Mother Teresa

For prayer is nothing else than being on terms of friendship with God.
Teresa of Avila

Prayer is the key of the morning and the bolt of the evening.
Prayer is not an old woman’s idle amusement. Properly understood and applied,
it is the most potent instrument of action.
Mahatma Gandhi

‘WHAT is a prayer? Prayer is sending blessing to all. Prayer is sending your compassion to all.
Prayer is creating an antidote of negative thoughts – it is positively.’ Osho

Prayer will connect us to the source which will provide and guide us on the way to our goal and dream.

The next pillar is fasting ,I will write about and have a story in my next post .

What is prayer for you ?
