Hope is a divine, most powerful pull toward our dream

Whoever has hope is feeling the most powerful pull to move toward a dream. Never confuse Hope with Expectations.

I did write about expectation, and it seems sometimes it is confused with hope.

Why Hope Is The Most Powerful Pull Toward A Dream

One of the most powerful components of dream building is hope. A dream is not big enough if we know exactly how to get there. We need the help of the divine, the universe, which pulls us and motivates us to take action toward our dreams. If we know how to get there, it is not a dream; it may be a goal. Hope is not a longing for something concrete; hope is flexible. Unfulfilled hope does not make despair; we go to the next one, adjust our hope, and keep going. Hope is love; It is accepting and has no conditions. Hope is the upward pull of the divine, a feeling that motivates us to go for something greater, better, new, and never experienced before. And with faith and trust, we can move toward our dream.

Once you choose hope, anything’s possible. ~ Christopher Reeve

Expectation makes stagnant. Either we expect from somebody, or others expect from us. Expectations make you unfree and can lower self-esteem. If we always feel that someone expects something from us, it makes us depressed because we can never make things right. The more we give in, it will become a demand. If we expect from others, we make them unfree, and they feel the pressure.

We have to accept others as they are the same as we like to be accepted as we are. Expectations are concrete; we know what we want others to do or to behave or what we want to get. Expectations either can make you hopeless. Living up to expectations means denying your true self and wearing a mask. This is why many people in our time do not know and love themselves and feel not good enough. People do not dare to be authentic or do not know the self. Read: Do You Dare To Be You?

Hope is not very popular in our era.

Talking about hope is not very popular in our era. It does not fit into materialistic thinking. Hope is an underestimated force. But it is one of the most powerful forces in the universe; it keeps the poorest of the poor moving and can heal. Whoever was in a situation with very sick people knows only if they have hoped a cure is possible. Nobody can guarantee that surgery or treatment is successful. For example, it is the hope of the sick, the family, helpers, and the doctors that are keeping them doing, even in seemingly hopeless cases.

Hope is putting faith to work when doubting would be easier. ~Author Unknown

The miserable have no other medicine But only hope.~William Shakespeare

Hope is faith holding out its hand in the dark. ~George Iles

When the world says, “Give up,”
Hope whispers, “Try it one more time.”

You’ve gotta have hope. Without hope, life is meaningless. Without hope, life is meaningless and less. ~Author Unknown

It is the around-the-corner brand of hope that prompts people to action, while the distant hope acts as an opiate. ~Eric Hoffer

When you say a situation or a person is hopeless, you’re slamming the door in the face of God. ~Charles L. Allen

Hope is the word which God has written on the brow of every man. ~Victor Hugo

God puts rainbows in the clouds so that each of us — in the dreariest and most dreaded moments — can see a possibility of hope. ~Maya Angelou

“Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul And sings the tune without the words And never stops at all.” Emily Dickinson.

Confusing hope with expectation is also the reason why the law of attraction does not work for many. Expectations can make blind for opportunities. Most people think all has to be right as they imagined and expect the dream to come true in the way they want. They miss the opportunities and signs of the universe on the way.

There is a story:

An old man was living in a house near a river, and a flood was coming. Helpers come to evacuate the people and ask the man to come. He said: “I am not coming with you; I stay in my house; God will save me.”

The water came, and the house got flooded. The old man had to escape to the second floor. A boat came by with helpers and asked him to go with them. Again he said: “I am not coming; God will save me.”

The water was getting higher, and he had to go on the roof of the house. This time a Helicopter came and wanted to rescue him, but he still said: “I am not coming; God will save me.”

Finally, he drowned. When he arrived in heaven, he asked God: ” Why did you not save me? I believed in you and expected  that  you keep me.” God said:” I sent you people to evacuate you, sent a boat and a helicopter, why did you not go with them?

The universe, God, does not work as we expect; it gives us hope. Hope makes us lookout for signs and opportunities for the next step toward our dream. Never give up hope, and be aware of this divine feeling. Look out, listen to your inner voice, and learn to notice the signs.

There is nothing so well known as that we should not expect something for nothing — but we all do and call it Hope. ~Edgar Howe

Though you lose all hope, there is still hope, and it loves to surprise. ~Robert Brault

The Will and Ways of Hope by Psychology Today – Scott Barry Kaufman, Ph.D

“Talent, skill, ability—whatever you want to call it—will not get you there. Sure, it helps. But a wealth of psychological research over the past few decades shows loud and clear that the psychological vehicles really get you there. You can have the best engine in the world, but you won’t get anywhere if you can’t be bothered to drive it.

Psychologists have proposed lots of different vehicles over the years. Grit, Conscientiousness, self-efficacy, optimism, passion, inspiration, etc. They are all important. One vehicle, however, is particularly undervalued and underappreciated in psychology and society. That’s hope.” continue here.
