The Power Of Meeting With Like Minded People
Have you ever experienced how in a meeting with like-minded people things are easier for you? Are you more relaxed and in a pleasant and good mood? In these meetings, Ideas start to flow and everybody is opening up and being enthusiastic. You literally can feel the power of being with like-minded people. A feeling of being uplifted and empowered can stay with you for quite a while.
You may have already experienced the power of a meeting with like-minded people. Although you may not be directly aware of the power these connections can have.
What holds you back?
It is often difficult to do what you really want If you have a goal or a dream. There may be people around you who hold you back or discourage you if you share your dreams and goals with them.
Many do not even dare to dream. Slogans like fear, failure, mistakes are used everywhere to hold people back. No wonder that many are scared even to start what they would like to do most. Starting something which is unusual in our society is considered crazy and dangerous.
See what Robin Sharma did write about on his blog I found it to be true:
“If the people you’ve populated your life with spend their finest hours being busy being busy, gossiping, watching too much TV and playing too many video games, then your results will reflect those influences. All geniuses and exceptional performers were parts of hubs of talent……………….the job of society is to get you to fit in, never stand out.
The main aim of our culture is to produce factory workers who think like the herd, behave like the crowd and smother the fire for outright greatness that is the natural birthright of every one of us………………Numb out those feelings [How can you love until you first feel I ask you?].
Block those brave thoughts. Close that heart that longs to open—and connect.”Read Robin Sharma’s The Misfit’s Manifesto

This talent hub he is talking about could be a group of like-minded people. Something that often holds people back from going after their dreams is not networking enough.
If you have a goal a talent which wants to come out, a dream, you need to be with people which support you, see your potential and encourage you. You need other people to inspire, push, and guide you to take action.
Meetings with Like Minded People and Masterminds
There’s a powerful transformative effect when you surround yourself with like-minded people. Peer pressure is a great thing when it helps you accomplish your goals instead of distracting you from them.- Po Bronson
Meeting two or more like-minded people together creates something new, greater because one suddenly accesses the experiences and the knowledge of several people. This allows a different viewpoint to be learned, to identify blind spots and to work on ideas in a tremendously efficient way.

You also have knowledge and experience that others can use for their projects. Believe me, when I tell you, you have certainly more knowledge and experience in a field than other people. And here exchange can happen. It will be a giving and a taking a win win.
It is proven that Ideas flow even better in a group meeting.
See this video, especially after 3 min.
Perhaps you have heard the term Mastermind one or other time. I avoided here to use this term because the word is like many others watered down. I saw many Mastermind groups which do not deserve this name.
What is a Mastermind Group
The concept of the mastermind group goes back to Napoleon Hill, author of the successful book Think And Grow Rich. A Mastermind group is a grouping of peers who support each other in achieving their goals. All participants are growing beyond themselves by challenging each other, brainstorming ideas and helping and believing in each other. He talks about that “a further, invisible force is created”.
This power is what I did write about in my post: Where do Ideas come from – The Universal Mind
Napoleon Hill about Mastermind
“No two minds ever come together without, thereby, creating a third, invisible, intangible force which may be likened to a third mind.”
― Napoleon Hill
Napoleon Hill said in the Master Mind principle: “Deliberately seek the company of people who influence you to think and act on building the life you desire. Two or more people actively engaged in the pursuit of a definite purpose with a positive mental attitude, constitute an unbeatable force.”
Many do not believe in this” force “ which is the universal mind and called it new age stuff. But between science has the proof. The mind stuff, Karana Chitta, the universal mind:
“There’s is a fundamental field of information that is the source of our consciousness. Consciousness is not an epiphenomenon of your brain, it’s actually something that your brain is tuned into like radio is tuned to a set of information.” – Nassim Haramein This is the “force” and it is more powerful at work in a group.
This is the power of the Universal Mind, Karana Chitta the mind stuff begins to flow. This “power” you may have already experienced
if you have teamed up with a few friends, family or colleagues to find a solution to a problem. Together, you have found a solution that nobody would have found thinking alone. The group has developed something bigger together by tapping into the guidance of a higher power.
We ought to believe that there is a mind diffused throughout the whole universe that disposeth of all things according to its counsels. – Socrates
“Great men are they who see that spiritual is stronger than any material force – that thoughts rule the world.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Being with like minded people helps you to see possibilities you have never thought about and shows you things that you can not perceive yourself. It is like successful teamwork. Every member of such a meeting profits from it
Why Successful People are meeting with Like Minded People
We do not hear about often, but all successful people regularly have Mastermind or meeting with like-minded people. Many successful people would certainly not be where they are today if they had not had the great support of groups, mentors, and like-minded people. This is why the gurus talk about you need to take care with whom you are. You are most likely influenced by the People you are with every day.
If you find you are weak in persistence, surround yourself with a mastermind group. – Napoleon Hill.
If you want to reach your goal or dream and have a successful life you need people who support and empower you and hold you accountable. You need to build a relationship and network. Being and meeting with like-minded people can be the hub which brings out the talents and out of mediocrity.
Deliberately seek the company of people who influence you to think and act on building the life you desire.” – Napoleon Hill.
Find yourself a network and support system
Jack Canfield writes:
“Another thing that often holds people back from success is not networking enough.
Remember, it’s not just what you know, it’s who you know as well. Business and careers are built on relationships, and relationships form when people meet and interact with each other over time, in an authentic and caring way.
Despite all we can learn and who we connect with online — nothing can replace the power of attending live events.
While you may be able to create tremendous success on your own, traveling the path of success with networking groups makes the journey more enjoyable.
Plus, the added accountability will propel you to success faster and further than you originally envisioned. This is where the importance of networking and masterminding comes into play.
It’s Not Just What You Know, It’s Who You Know
Success is a team sport.
It’s not what you know, it’s also who you know.”
What is a partner in believing?
A partner in believing is somebody you can trust and believes in you. Also, a partner in believing knows you do not judge sees your potential and sees more in you than can see yourself. He believes that you can reach your dream and is ready to help, support, and uplift you whenever you need. A partner in belief is a mentor You share problems and solve them together.
Whenever you are caught in circumstances a partner in believing can give you a different view from outside of this situation and open up the mind to new possibilities. And you do the same for your partner in believing.
Together you can find ways to move forward, see the next steps to take action and grow. You will realize that there are no failures, that failures can bring you back on the right path, mistakes are teachers and fear if faced disappears. With a partner in believing, you can access the guidance of a higher power, follow your heart and intuition and act on what feels right to you.

How to find Partners in believing?
You can find and create partners in believing by attracting them, looking for them, and actually, the highest way you create it is you become one yourself. By practicing believing for other people and seeing in them and then calling forth their highest good, you attract to you people who believe and see for you and call forth your highest good.
Everybody should have at least one or two partners in believing. Build a support system by meeting with like-minded people and you will reach your goals and dreams easier by supporting each other. Hence, the most important thing is you will have contacts that you can count on when life does not work so well. There can be setbacks and disappointments when you move toward your dreams. Best of all, it is especially important to have people who will lift you up, help find solutions, and put you back on track.
Do you know like-minded People you can meet? Or do you have partners in believing?

How to create your own Mastermind
Here is an informative video from Jack Canfield. He gives advice: How to create your own Mastermind
He also talks about his book: The Success Principles, it is a very good book.
I did get it right after it was published 2007 and can recommend it as worth reading.
